Turn-based strategy where you command fantasy armies across hex grids, capturing towns and battling for map control. Six factions—human knights, demons, necromancers, dark elves, wood elves, wizards—each with unique unit rosters and battlefield abilities. Haven trains soldiers mid-campaign for promotions; Inferno summons temporary reinforcements during fights; Necropolis reanimates fallen enemies as troops. The campaign follows a demon invasion that kills a king, his widow's manipulation by a disguised succubus, and a necromancer's scheme to resurrect the dead monarch as a vampire. You'll play multiple heroes across faction-specific story chapters: defending the Griffin Empire, infiltrating as a transformed demon, uniting dark elf clans, or rallying elves and wizards against undead forces. Combat's about pre-battle army composition and spell timing—no real-time micro. Expect 30+ hour campaigns if you chase every artifact and siege.
