About

Turn-based strategy where you build towns, recruit armies, and command heroes across a hex-grid map. Each turn involves gathering resources, constructing buildings that unlock unit types, and moving heroes who carry armies into battle. Combat plays out on a separate tactical grid—you position creatures and cast spells while the AI does the same. Six campaigns follow Queen Catherine's effort to reclaim her homeland after her father's assassination, though you can also play standalone scenarios. The game offers multiple factions (castles, necropolis towers, dungeons) with distinct unit rosters and building chains. Heroes level up, learn spells, and equip artifacts found on the map. Expect to balance expansion, economy, and army composition as you capture enemy towns. Works if you like methodical planning over twitch reflexes.
