Jazzpunk is a first-person comedy game set in a warped 1950s spy world where exploration beats puzzle-solving. You're Polyblank, a silent agent mailed to headquarters in a human-sized suitcase, taking missions that involve degaussing pigeons, stealing artificial kidneys from cowboys, and photocopying your rear end to bypass security. Each objective exists mostly as an excuse to wander surreal environments packed with interactive NPCs—each triggers its own sight gag or absurd interaction. Mini-games pop up constantly: mini-golf, a Frogger knockoff, Duck Hunt where you launch toast at cardboard ducks. The plot spirals through Soviet consulates, sushi joints, resort simulations, and a finale involving an inflated ego you literally pop with a needle. Missions bookend with Zen garden interludes feeding koi fish. It's dense with free-association humor and references to older games and films, prioritizing weird moments over coherent narrative.
