Mega Man X4

Side-scrolling action platformer where you pick one of two playable characters—X or Zero—and tackle eight robot bosses in any order. X uses his arm cannon and can acquire weapons from defeated bosses, while Zero fights up close with a beam saber and learns special techniques. New moves include an air hover for X and a tactical saber system for Zero. Levels hide power-ups, secret rooms, and occasional vehicles that grant temporary invincibility. Each character gets a distinct storyline, so playing through as both reveals different cutscenes and perspectives on the same conflict. Expect pattern-based boss fights and precise platforming across industrial and high-tech environments.
